Fight With Batteries

I hate when I am trying to change the channel on the television and the batteries die in the middle of me changing it. Usually it gets stuck on some stupid show that I don't want to watch. I have direct tv so there is no changing the channel with the television. It makes me want to scream. So I look to annoying toys that I can take the batteries out of and of course they are all the wrong size. I'm just to lazy to go to the store and buy some, not to mention they are way expensive. I mean dang some batteries are the same price as a gallon of gas. What is up with that!?!?!
  I know everyone has been there before needed batteries for something and never having the right size. Maybe I should just stock up on all different sized but then I probably will forget where I placed them like I do everything else. I mean I can walk in the door place my keys down and hubby will ask me 10 minutes later where I put them and I draw a blank. That is so sad. lol
 Anyways this is my gripe for the day stupid batteries. Everything needs to run off something else. Solar would be good but the light would probably burn up then. My thoughts and things........

Friendship

Can you define friendship? I'm not talking about the dictionary definition I'm talking about actually defining friendship. Friendship is a wonderful thing to have. You may have a lot of friends but really only one true friend. A friend that you can trust, that you can tell everything, that you know will not stab you in the back.
  I had a very close friend we, at one time, was in separable. We did everything together we talked about everything. Of course,we had our fights but we could not talk for weeks if we got mad and begin talking again like nothing ever happened. That is what true friendship is. Cancer took her away from me, I still think about her every single day and it makes me sad. I hate that I can't pick up my phone and talk to her. I hate that I wasn't there for her when she needed me. Like many things life can take over and although you never actually forget about people you just don't have time to sit and chat like you use to. That is what happened to us. We was still friends though no matter what, we still talked when ever we could.
 There is also a friendship that you obtain through the internet. Even though you can't sit and talk to them face to face. You can share things and talk about our lives. I have the best internet friends a person can ask for. I know they are TRUE friends, even though we haven't actually met, we all know each other. We share our secrets, we have been through pregnancies and labor, we have battled sickness, and we have went through deaths with one another. We are always here for each other. I trust my friends and even though we might get on each others nerves at times, we can come back the next day and forget all about it.
 We have each others back no matter what. It pisses me off when people run their mouths about my friends. We will meet one day and it could be a bad thing because we might bring down the world you never know with us. We can be unpredictable!!! Like I said I lost a really close friend, but my internet friends was brought to me for a reason. They help me through a lot of things even if they don't know they are. I love you guys!!! Your the best and I am glad we all have each other and wouldn't trade any of you for nothing. We are truly all the best of friends in my eyes.

Pregnancy Questions

Is it me or has people gone completely insane with the pregnancy questions on Facebook. I mean really if you have to look to a bunch of people you don't know and ask if your pregnant then something is wrong. I mean come on now are you seriously saying you had sex, you missed your period, AM I PREGNANT?
Well lets see, for starts people are not a psychic pregnancy predictor, second if you had sex there is always a possibility of getting pregnant.
 Giving that you used protection or are using birth control, nothing is 100% effective. Also birth control and antibiotics don't mix so take extra protection. So I say if you think your pregnant take your hiney to the store and buy a test and find out for yourself. Don't look to people to answer a question for you. Also if you have to ask ignorant questions about if your pregnant and you have had sex within the past month protective or not and your don't get a test first to find out, then I say you are maybe not ready for a child. That is just my thoughts and things.........

Gender Role Based Toys

 There is alot of discussion of children playing with other gender toys. They believe its wrong to have a boy play with a baby doll, and a girl to play with cars. I do not see  the problem in it. My son plays with my high heels my daughters baby dolls, my daughter plays with my son's cars and trucks and trains.
  I don't think that playing with the opposite gender toys will make a child gay in the future, nor make them confused with themselves.
 I think some parents need to loosen up. I mean what are you teaching your son if you take the childs toy away and say no that is  for a girl. Will they not grow up and think when they have a child that babies are just for the women?  I think it teaches kids alot to play with the other gender toys and I think that it will help the child become a better person in life. http://www.education.com/reference/article/toys-gender-roles/?page=2 Read for yourself and make your own opinion.
 I will continue to let my children play with the other gender toys and dress up if they like and even walk around in my high heels if that makes the child happy. I mean come on they are children they are learning new stuff everyday. What ever makes the child happy is all that matters to me. That is just my  thoughts and things.......

Harold and Kumar Christmas

 So I watched the third Harold and Kumar last night. I have to say I did not like it as much as the first and second one. There was some funny parts just not like the other two. It was also a Christmas one and in 3-D and I did not have 3-D glasses which it might have helped the movie some.
  I love me some Harold and Kumar and their pot smoking antics and trouble they get their selves into. 
Watch it, it is worth watching if you are into those kind of movies. Thats my thoughts and opinions.......

This Means War

 So this weekend I went and watched the new movie "This Means War" with Reese Witherspoon.
 I have to say this was a very good movie, I enjoyed if very much and also laughed my butt off.
  So Reese gets involved with two guys that just so happen to be best friends and they have a war with one another to see who will win her "love" so to speak.
  This movie had action, it had humor. I by no means take this movie as a "chick flick". There is a little bit of something for everyone although the movie is Rated PG-13, there is some language and scenes that I really wouldn't want my young child watch.
  Not to mention there is two sexy guys that play two of the main characters, one has a wonderful accent and the other you will automatically fall deep into his gorgeous eyes.
